١٠٩٦ - جنيّ الصفوانيّ [- بعد ٣١٢] (٤) [٤٠٠ أ] جنيّ الصفوانيّ الخادم [ ... ]. [ ... ] ودخل بلاد الروم في سنة ستّ وثلاثمائة، فخرّب ونهب وأحرق وفتح، وعاد. فقرئت الكتب على المنابر ببغداد. وقدم إلى مصر مددا لتكين على قتال أبي القاسم ابن المهديّ عبيد الله صاحب إفريقيّة، سلخ ذي الحجّة سنة ثمان وثلاثمائة، ومعه عسكر من بغداد. فعسكر بالجيزة. وجعله مؤنس المظفّر على مقدّمته عند مسيره إلى الفيّوم. فلمّا مضى مؤنس إلى العراق خرج جنيّ أيضا من مصر في الثامن عشر من شهر ربيع الآخر سنة تسع وثلاثمائة.
