٩٩٨ - بيبرس الزاهديّ الأحدب [- ٦٩٢] [٣٠٩ ب] بيبرس الزاهدي الأحدب الرمّاح، الأمير ركن الدين، أحد المماليك [ ... ]. تنقّل في الخدم وصار من أمراء مصر. فلمّا جرى للملك السعيد ما جرى (٣) وسبق الأمراء إلى القلعة، كان بيبرس هذا قدّامه فتقطّر عن فرسه فتكوّنت له منه حدبة وعرف بذلك. ولم يزل حتى مات في سنة اثنتين وتسعين وستّمائة. وكان جوادا.
