    ٩٨٥ - بنان سعيد السعداء [- ٥٤٤] (٤) [٢٦٩ ب] بنان، أحد خدّام القصر في أيّامالحافظ، وهو الملقّب سعيد السعداء. وهو صاحب الخانقاه التي صارت بعده لصلاح الدين، فوقفها على الفقراء برحبة العيد بالقاهرة. وكان موت هذا الخادم في شوّال سنة أربع وأربعين وخمسمائة: أمر الخليفة بأن يحرق بالنار فأحرق عند باب البحر ورمي برأسه، وعلّق بباب زويلة، وكان جنى جناية اقتضت عقوبته بذلك.
