٧٢٥/ ٢ - ابن شبل الإسكندرانيّ [- ٥١٣] إسماعيل بن إبراهيم بن [عثمان] بن شبل الإسكندرانيّ، أحد العدول بالثغر. كان مشارا إليه في ذلك. وقد سمع الحديث وحدّث هو وأخوه أبو بكر يحيى بن إبراهيم، وامتنع عن الشهادة (٢). ومات في رمضان سنة اثنتي عشرة وخمسمائة وله خمس وثمانون سنة، وصلّى عليه السلفيّ، وهو ممّن حدّث عن السلفيّ.
