    ٧٠٥ - الحاج أرقطاي [- ٧٥٠] (٣) [١٣٤ أ] أرقطاي، الأمير سيف الدين، المعروف بالحاج أرقطاي، نائب السلطنة وأحد المماليك المنصوريّة قلاوون. ربّاه الطواشيّ فاخر مقدّم المماليك أحسن تربية. ثمّ خدم الأشرف [١٧٠ ب] خليل ابن قلاوون، وصار صغيرا إلى الملك الناصر محمّد بن قلاوونهو وأخوه أيتمش المحمّدي، وكانا معه في الكرك. فلمّا عاد إلى السلطنة أنعم عليه بإمرة في شوّال سنة تسع وسبعمائة.
