٦٠٤ - شهاب الدين ابن الهائم [(٧٥٦) - ٨١٥] (١) [٤٣ أ] أحمد بن محمد بن عماد بن عليّ، الشيخ الإمام، شهاب الدين، أبو العبّاس، ابن الهائم، الفقيه الشافعيّ. ولد بالقاهرة، ونشأ بها، وبرع في الفقه وتقدّم على أقرانه في معرفة الفرائض وعلم الحساب. وأتقن العربيّة. وسار إلى القدس فسكنها سنين كثيرة وصار من عظماء الناس بها [١٣٣ أ] ودرّس وأفتى حتّى مات هناك في جمادى الآخرة سنة خمس عشرة وثمانمائة. وقد أناف على الستّين.وله عدّة مصنّفات في الفقه والحساب. وتخرّج به كثير من الفضلاء.
