    ٥٢٩ - تاج الأئمّة المقرئ [- ٤٤٥] (٢) أحمد بن علي بن هاشم، تاج الأئمّة، أبو العبّاس، المصري، المقرئ. قرأ على عمر بن عراك، وأبي عديّ عبد العزيز بن الإمام، وابن غلبون، وأبي الحسن عليّ بن محمد بن إسحاق الحلبيّ، وأبي الحسن ابن الحمّامي، قرأ عليه ببغداد. وأقرأ الناس دهرا بمصر. ودخل بلاد الأندلس سنة عشرين وأربعمائة، وسمع منه أبو عمر الطلمنكيّ (٣) مع تقدّمه. وقرأ عليه أبو القاسم الهذليّ، ومحمد بن شريح صاحب كتاب الكافي. وحدّث عنه أبو عبد الله محمد بن أحمد الرازي في مشيخته. توفّي في شوّال سنة خمس وأربعين وأربعمائة. قال أبو عمر ابن الحذّاء (٤): هو أحفظ من لقيت لاختلاف القرّاء وأخبارهم.
