٤٣٦ - أبو الحسن العرقيّ النحويّ [٤٦٢ - ] (٤) [٤٠ أ] أحمد بن حمزة بن أحمد، أبو الحسن العرقيّ- ويقال: كنيته أبو يعلى. وقيل: أبو يعلى حمزة بن الحسين بن أحمد- التنوخي، النحويّ. ولد سنة اثنتين وستّين وأربعمائة. وقرأ القرآن على أبي الحسين ابن الخشّاب، واللغة على ابن القطّاع، والنحو على مسعود الدولة الدمشقي نزيل مصر. وقدم إلى مصر من الشام فأفاد بها. وسمع من السّلفيّ الحديث وعلّق السلفيّ عنه فوائد أدبيّة. فلمّا قدم أمير الجيوش بدر الجماليّ إلى القاهرة ودبّر الأمور استخدمه في الحكم نائبا عنه، فاستمرّ إلى أن مات بالإسكندريّة، وحمل إلى مصر، في [ ... ] (٥).
