١٤٣ - الزجّاج النحويّ [- ٣١١] (٤) إبراهيم بن السريّ بن سهل- وقيل: إبراهيم بن محمد بن السريّ بن سهل- أبو إسحاق الزجّاج النحويّ. أخذ النحو أوّلا عن أحمد بن يحيى ثعلب. ثمّ أخذ عن أبي العبّاس محمد بن يزيد المبرّد، وهو أستاذ أبي عليّ الفارسيّ. توفّي يوم الجمعة لإحدى عشرة بقين من جمادى الآخرة سنة إحدى عشرة وثلاثمائة- وقيل: سنة ستّ عشرة- وقد نيّف على الثمانين.
