    نادرة من النوادر في إحدى مزارع البطين عثر على كمأة كبيرة الحجم فوزنوها فكانت ثلاث كيلو ونصف، وهذا نادر الوقوع في السنين الأخيرة، وكانت المزرعة للأمير فهد بن فيصل بن فرحان كما أنه نزلت قيمة سمن الأغنام فبيع الطيب من السمن بخمسة وأربعين ريالًا، وقد قدمنا أنه في هذه السنة عم الكلأ والعشب الكثير فله الشكر والحمد، وكانت الأمة تكثر النزهة والفرجة في البر، ويتمتعون في زينة الربيع، أما عن الأغنام والإبل فإنها في قيمة باهظة وغاية في الغلاء، وقد بيع كبش كبير في تسعمائة ريال، أما سائر كباش الضأن فتتراوح من خمسمائة وخمسين إلى ستمائة.
