    ثورة العراق ففيها في ليلة ١٤/ ٩ قتل رئيس جمهورية العراق عبد الكريم قاسم قام عليه أعداؤه بهجوم عنيف وأعدم بالرصاص ثم أنَّه تولى بعده الرئاسة عبد السلام محمد عارف واتخذ وضعًا جديدًا. نسأل الله تعالى أن يوفق المسلمين لما فيه صلاحهم ويكفيهم شر شرارهم. وقد نجم عن ذلك إزهاق أنفس كثيرة في العراق ما بين ١٤/ ٩ إلى ٢٩ منه حتَّى قيل: إن الذين قتلوا في هذه الأيام تسعة وخمسون ألفًا.
