    زيارة الشاب ملك العراق ففي ١٥/ ٢ وصل إلى ميناء الدمام اليخت الملكي (الملكة عالية) يقل ملك العراق فيصل الثَّاني ابن غازي بن فيصل بدعوة من الملك سعود. وكان الملك سعود قد غادر الرياض قبل ذلك بيومين إلى الدمام وما أن وصلها الضيف حتَّى استقبله رجال الدولة وأعيانها، كان من أبرز المستقبلين بعد جلالة الملك وأخيه فيصل ولي العهد يوسف ياسين وجمال الحسيني ومحمد بن دغيثر فأطلقت المدافع لذلك وقام أمير المنطقة الشرقية سعود بن جلوي وبقية أصحاب السمو الملكي والأمراء والوجهاء والأعيان يستقبلون مهنئين. وبعدما ألقيت القصائد والخطب المعبرة عن آمال العروبة والذهاب والإياب وتناول المآدب عاد إلى بلاده.
