يوسف بن عليّ بن محمّد بن ضوء الصّفديّ أصلا، المقدسيّ، الشّهير ب «ابن النّقيب» أخو أحمد، جمال الدّين، الحافظ. قال ابن فهد: سمع من الحافظ أبي محمود المقدسيّ، وسمع منه شيخنا ابن موسى، والآبي سنة ١٥ (¬١)، وأظنّه أجاز لنا باستدعاء الأوّل فيحرّر. - انتهى-.قلت: وأخوه المذكور حنفيّ ذكره النّجم ابن فهد في «معجمه». ٧٩٦ -
