محمّد القناويّ، الشّيخ، شمس الدّين، الصّالحيّ. قال في «الإنباء»: كان من قدماء الحنابلة ومشايخهم، ويتبذّل ويتكلّمبكلام العامّة، ويفتي بمسألة الطّلاق، وقد أنكرت عليه غير مرّة ولم يكن ماهرا في الفقه. مات في ذي القعدة سنة ٨٢٦.- انتهى-. أقول: تقدّمت هذه العبارة بحروفها في محمّد بن محمّد القبّاني عن النّجم بن فهد فلعلّه ناقل لها عن شيخه الحافظ، وأنّه هو، وأسقط في «الإنباء» اسم أبيه، والقناوي غلط من النّاسخ. ٧٥٥ -
