محمّد بن محمّد بن محمود بن سلمان بن فهد الحلبيّ الأصل، الدّمشقيّ، بدر الدّين، ابن شمس الدّين، ابن الشّهاب محمود. قال في «الدّرر»: ولد سنة ٦٩٩، وسمع في سنة ١٠ من إبراهيم بن النّصر «جزء سفيان» (أنا) السّخاويّ، ومن الأمين النّحّاس «الأربعينالبلدانيّة» ومن الحجّار وغيرهم، وولي بدمشق نظر الجيش ونظر الأوقاف وغير ذلك، وحدّث، أخذ عنه شيخنا العراقي وغيره، ووصفوه بأنّه كان جوادا ممدّحا. مات سنة ٧٧٤. ٧٢٣ -
