محمّد بن محمّد بن عبد الله بن عمر بن عوض، شمس الدّين.قال في «الدّرر»: ولد سنة ٧٠٤ وأحضر على ابن مشرّف وأسمع على التّقيّ سليمان «المروءة» للضراب و «مشيخة ابن الجوزيّ» وغير ذلك وأسمع على المطعّم، وأبي بكر بن أحمد بن عبد الدّائم وغيرهما، وأجاز له شرف الدّين الفزاريّ، وأبو جعفر بن الموازينيّ، وعبد الأحد ابن تيميّة، وإسحاقالنّحّاس، والفخر إسماعيل بن عساكر، وفاطمة بنت سليمان، والدّمياطيّ، وابن الصّوّاف، وعليّ بن القيّم، وحسن سبط زيادة، وابن السّقطيّ، وابن السّنّيّ، وحدّث بالكثير، وتفرّد، وكان بيطارا بالصّالحيّة. مات في المرستان في شعبان سنة ٧٩٣. ٦٩٩ -
