    محمّد بن عليّ بن محمّد بن الباسلار البعليّ، بدر الدّين، أبو عبد الله الشّيخ، الإمام، العلّامة، البارع، النّاقد، المحقّق، أحد مشايخ المذهب.له مختصر في الفقه سمّاه «التّسهيل» عبارته وجيزة مفيدة، وفيه من الفوائد ما لم يوجد في غيره من المطوّلات، أثنى عليه العلماء. توفّي سنة ٧٧٧، قاله في «الشّذرات» وفي «الدّرر» سنة ٧٨، وأنّه سمع من أبي الفتح اليونيني، وحدّث، سمع منه الفضلاء وكان إماما عالما عليه مدارالفتوى ببلده. ٦٥٩ -
