فرّاج بن سابق الزّبيريّ.ولد في الزّبير، وقرأ على عالمه الشّيخ إبراهيم بن ناصر بن جديد (¬١) وغيره، ثمّ حجّ، وجاور بمكّة فقرأ على زاهدها الشّيخ عمر عبد [ربّ] الرّسول الحنفي (¬٢) التّفسير والحديث، وكذا على محدّثها السّيّد يوسف البطّاح الزّبيدي (¬٣)، وعلم القراءات والعربيّة على الشّيخ أحمد المرزوقي الضّرير (¬٤)، وأجازه، وخطّه حسن، وغالب كلامه بسجع، وله نظم. توفّي سنة ١٢٤٦ ظنّا. ٥١٢ -
