عوّاد بن عبيد بن عابد الكوريّ النّابلسيّ. قدم دمشق فقرأ على مشايخها، وأخذ الفقه عن الشّيخ عبد القادرالتّغلبيّ، ومحمّد أبي المواهب، وولده الشّيخ عبد الجليل، وغيرهم/ فبرع في الفقه والأصول والفرائض والحساب. قال السّفّارينيّ: وكان فيه نهاية، وشارك في علوم العربيّة، وأخذ عنه جمع من الأفاضل أجلّهم العلّامة السّفّاريني وقال في «ثبته»: أجازني وكتب لي إجازة مطوّلة فيها فوائد مبجّلة. قال: والكوريّ نسبة إلى قرية كور من قرى جبل نابلس، ثمّ سكن دمشق الشّام واستوطنها ومات بها. ٥٠٤ -
