عليّ بن محمّد بن محمّد بن المنجّى بن محمّد بن عثمان التّنوخي، قاضي الشّام، علاء الدّين، ابن صلاح الدّين، ابن زين الدّين.تقدّم في العلم إلى أن صار أمثل فقهاء الحنابلة في عصره، مع الفضل والصّيانة، والدّيانة، والأمانة، وناب عن ابن قاضي الجبل، ثمّ استقلّ بالقضاء سنة ٨٨ بعد موت ابن التّقيّ، ثمّ صرف مرارا وأعيد، إلى أن مات بالطّاعون في رجب سنة ٨٠٠ بمنزله بالصّالحيّة، قاله في «الشّذرات». ٤٧٤ -
