عليّ بن محمّد بن عبد الله، نور الدّين، المناويّ ، ثمّ القاهريّ. قال في «الضّوء»: ويعرف ب «باهو». مات في صفر سنة ٨٨٨، عن بضع وستّين سنة، وأسند وصيّته للشّهاب الشّيشينيّ، وكان ساكنا، خيّرا، عاقلا، يتّجر في السّكّر وغيره، وينتمي لبني الجيعان، وباسمه أطلاب ووظائف منها التّصوّف بالأشرفيّة (¬١)، وحجّ، وباشر عقود الأنكحة، مع المحافظة على الجماعة، وطيب الكلام، ﵀. وله ولد ذكر، تركه صغيرا فحفّظه وصيّة الخرقيّ وعرضه بعد ثمان سنين. - انتهى-. قال في «الشّذرات»: ولّاه القاضي بدر الدّين البغداديّ العقود والفسوخ بالدّيار المصريّة ولم يزل إلى أيّام القاضي بدر الدّين السّعديّ حتّى توفّي.٤٦٥ -
