عبد الله بن داود الزّبيريّ. ولد في بلد سيّدنا الزّبير بقرب البصرة، وبها نشأ، فقرأ القرآن والعلم، ثمّ ارتحل إلى الأحساء للأخذ عن علّامتها الشّيخ محمّد بن فيروز، فلازمهوأخذ عنه، وعن ولده الشّيخ عبد الوهّاب وغيرهما، حتّى تمهّر في الفقه والأصول والفرائض، والعربيّة، ثمّ رجع إلى بلده فدرّس فيها، وأفتى، وصنّف تصانيف منها «الصّواعق والرّعود في الرّدّ على ابن سعود» في مجلّد حافل (¬١) أجاد فيه/، و «مناسك الحجّ» مجلّد لطيف (¬٢) ورسالة في الرّبا والصّرف، وغير ذلك. توفّي سنة ١٢٢٥ في بلد الزّبير.٣٨٤ -
