عبد الكريم بن محيي الدّين بن سليمان الدّمشقي ، الشّهير ب «الجراعيّ» والد إسماعيل/ السّابق شارح «الغاية». قال كمال الدّين محمّد بن محمّد بن محمّد الغزّيّ في كتابه «الورد الأنسيّ»، وهو الشّيخ، الفاضل، البركة، الصّالح، الهمام، أبو العزّ، عزّ الدّين. ولد بدمشق سنة ١٠٩٨، وأخذ عن الأستاذ، وأجازه وكانت وفاته بدمشق سنة ١١٦١ وقد ترجمته في كتابي «النّعت الأكمل بتراجم أصحاب الإمام أحمد بن حنبل» - انتهى-. أقول: لم أظفر به مع شدّة التّفحّص خصوصا في بلده دمشق، وعسى الله أن يوجدني إيّاه بمنّه وكرمه. ٣٦٦ -
