عبد الرّحمن بن عبد الله بن خليل بن أبي الحسن بن ظاهر- بالمعجمة- الحرستانيّ الصّالحيّ، زين الدّين الآتي أبوه.قال ابن فهد في «معجمه» (¬١): ولد في حادي عشر شوّال سنة ٧٥١ وسمع من عبد الله بن القيّم كتاب «الذّكر والتّذكير» لأبي بكر بن أبي عاصم النّبيل، والسّابع من «حديث أبي بكر الباغنديّ» وجزءا من «أمالي العسّالي» والطّبراني، وحدّث سنة ١٥ وأجاز في الاستدعاءات، ومات بعد ذلك. ٣١١ -
