سلمان بن عبد الحميد بن محمّد بن مبارك البغداديّ الدّمشقيّ، نزيل القابون. قال في «الضّوء»: سمع من ابن الخبّاز، ومحمّد بن إسماعيل الحمويّ، والعروضيّ، ومحمّد بن موسى الشّقراويّ. فعلى الأوّل «قمعالحرص بالقناعة» للخرائطيّ، وعلى الثّالث «معجم ابن جميع»، وحدّث سمع منه الفضلاء، لقيه شيخنا وغيره، وكان خيّرا صوفيّا (¬١) بالخاتونيّة مستحضرا للمسائل الفقهيّة، ولديه فضائل. مات سنة ٨٠٥ (¬٢). ذكره شيخنا في «معجمه»، و «إنبائه»، والمقريزي.٢٦٢ -
