سالم بن سلامة بن سليمان بن محمود، مجد الدّين الحمويّ.قال في «الضّوء»: ولي قضاء حلب فلم تحمد سيرته فيها، بحيث قتل فيها ابن قاضي عنتاب خنقا بغير مسوّغ معتمد، وحبس لذلك بقلعة حلب إلى أن خنق على باب محبسه سنة ٨٥٨، وكان- فيما قيل- ذا مشاركة ومذاكرة بالشّعر، ومعرفة بالأحكام في الجملة، ولكنّه مهوّرا حادّ الخلق محبّا في القضاء. ٢٥٨ -
