خليل بن محمّد بن أبي بكر بن خلفان- بفتح المعجمة والفاء، وإسكان اللّام بينهما، وبالنّون آخره- الدّمشقيّ المعروف ب «السّروجيّ» القاضي، غرس الدّين. ولد في ربيع الأوّل سنة ٨٦٠ بميدان الحصا، واشتهر بالشّهادة، ثمّ فوّض إليه نيابة الحكم مدّة يسيرة. وتوفّي يوم الخميس سابع رمضان سنة ٩٢٨، ودفن بتربة الحورة بالميدان. قاله في «الشّذرات».٢٤٦ -
