حسن بن محمّد بن حسين بن محمّد، البدر بن الشّمس بن العزّ البعليّ التّاجر، ويعرف ب «ابن العجميّ». قال في «الضّوء»: ولد ببعلبكّ قبل التّسعين، ونشأ فقرأ القرآن على ابن قاضي المنيطرة، وفي الفقه على العماد بن يعقوب الحنبلي، وتكسّب بالتّجارة، وكان قد سمع «الصّحيح» على الزّين عبد الرّحمن بن الرّغبوب، وحدّث، لقيته ببعلبكّ فقرأت عليه، وكان خيّرا، محبّا في الحديث وأهله. مات قريب سنة ٦٠. ٢٣١ -
