أحمد بن موسى بن فيّاض بن عبد العزيز بن فيّاض المقدسيّ، شهاب الدّين أبو العبّاس/ قاضي حلب وابن قاضيها.خرج له أبوه عن القضاء باختياره سنة ٧٤، فباشره إلى أن مات في شعبان سنة ٧٩٦، وكان عالما، ديّنا، عادلا، خيّرا، متواضعا، كثير السّكون، محمود الطّريقة، مشكورا في أحكامه، وكان يكثر التّزويج حتّى يقال: إنّه أحصن أكثر من ( … ) (¬١) امرأة قاله في «الدّرر». ١٥٩ -
