أحمد بن محمّد بن عثمان بن عمر بن عبد الله، نزيل غزّة. قال في «الشّذرات»: سمع من الميدوميّ، ومحمّد بن إبراهيم بن أسد، وأكثر عن العلائيّ وغيرهم، وكان ديّنا، صالحا، خيّرا، بصيرا ببعض المسائل سكن غزّة واتّخذ بها جامعا، وكان للنّاس فيه اعتقاد، ونعم الشّيخ كان، قرأ ابن حجر عليه عدّة أجزاء. ومات في صفر سنة ٨٠٣، وله ثنتان وسبعون سنة.
