أحمد بن محمّد بن حسن الشّهير بالقصيّر- بضمّ القاف وفتح الصّاد المهملة وكسر الياء المشدّدة بصيغة التّصغير- النّجديّ الأشيقريّ نسبةإلى أشيقر بضمّ الهمزة من قرى الوشم (¬١).قرأ على الشّيخ عبد الله بن ذهلان وأخيه الشّيخ عبد الرّحمن وغيرهما من محقّقي أهل نجد، ومهر في الفقه، وبهر في الفهم، وكتب بخطّه الحسن النّيّر المضبوط كثيرا من كتب الفقه وغيره، وأفتى، وكتب على المسائل كتابة حسنة، ودرّس في بلده وانتفع به خلق منهم الشّيخ عبد الله بن أحمد بن عضيب. وتوفّي سنة ١١٢٤. ١٢٦ -
