أحمد بن عبد الرّحمن بن محمّد بن عبد الله بن محمّد بن محمود المرداويّ، أبو العبّاس، قاضي حماة.قال في «الدّرر»: ولد سنة ٧١٢ (¬١) بمردا، وقدم دمشق فتفقّه ومهر، وسمع من ابن الشّحنة، والذّهبيّ وغيرهما، وحدّث، ثمّ ولي قضاء حماة مدّة، ودرّس، وأفاد، وهو أوّل حنبليّ ولي قضاء بلده، وله نظم ونثر. مات سنة ٧٨٧. ٧٤ -
