٢١٨٨ - عبد الله بن شقيق العُقَيليُّ، أبو عبد الرحمن البصريُّ. * قال العجلي: ثقةٌ "الثقات" ٧٠٧. * وقال يعقوب بن سفيان: حدثنا سلمة، عن أحمد. حدثنا إسماعيل. أخبرنا خالد الحذاء. قال: ذكر أبو قلابة عبد الله بن شقيق. قال: أي رجل هو إلا أنه تعرب. "المعرفة والتاريخ" ٢/ ٨٨. وقال يعقوب أيضًا: حدثني محمد بن عبد الرحيم. قال: سألت عليًّا عن عبد الله بن شقيق رأى ابن عُمر؟ قال: لا، ولكنه قد رأى أبا ذر وأبا هريرة. "المعرفة والتاريخ" ٢/ ١٢٨ و ١٢٩.
