١٢٤٩ - رجاء بن حيوة الكندي أبو المقدام الشامي الفلسطيني. * قال العجلي: شاميٌّ ثقة. (٣٨٩). * وقال يعقوب بن سفيان: حدثنا سعيد بن أسد. قال: حدثنا ضمرة، عن رجاء بن أبي سلمة، عن ابن عون. قال: ما لقيتُ أكفأ من ثلاثةٍ: رجاء بن حيوة بالشام، والقاسم بن محمد بالحجاز، وابن سيرين بالعراق، يقول: لم يجاوزواما علموا، ولم يتكلفوا أن يقولوا برأيهم. (المعرفة) ١/ ٥٤٨، و ٢/ ٣٦٨. * وقال أبو زرعة الدمشقي: حدثني أحمد بن شبويه، قال: حدثنا النضر بن شميل، عن ابن عون. قال: لقيتُ ثلاثة، كأنهم اجتمعوا فتواصوا: ابن سيرين بالبصرة، ورجاء بن حيوة بالشام، والقاسم بن محمد بالمدينة.
