    مورمبي سيسي السنغالي (٠٠٠ - ١٤٠٨ هـ- ٠٠٠ - ١٩٨٨ م) كاتب، صوفي. اسمه مورمبي السنغالي المالكي المريدي سيسي، أبو البشير. نسبته إلى الطريقة الصوفية المريدية التي تولدت من القادرية، في السنغال. وهو مريد الشيخ أحمد بن مبكى المعروف بخادم الرسول ﷺ المتوفى ١٣٤٦ هـ. له كتاب: مجموعة حكم ولوفية. وهو نثر باللغة الولوفية يجمع أمثالا وحكما إفريقية (١٤ ورقة- مكتبة الشيخ مورمبي سيسي بالسنغال) وكتاب آخر بعنوان: تعليق على التغيرات الواقعة في الحكومة السنغالية (نسخت سنة ١٣٦٩ هـ- ٤ ورقات- بخط مغربي- نثر سياسي، يبين فيه الكاتب ما يلزم السنغاليين أمام الإدارة الاستعمارية- المكتبة السابقة) (٣).
