    قتيبة الشيخ نوري (١٣٤١ - ١٣٩٩ هـ- ١٩٢٢ - ١٩٧٩ م) طبيب، فنان. ولد ببغداد. درس الطب في الكلية الطبية، صار بعدها جراحا في الأنف والأذن والحنجرة. كان من أوائل أعضاء جمعية الفنانين التشكيليينالعراقيين، وانضم إلى جماعة الرواد، ثم إلى جماعة البعد الواحد، وانتخب رئيسا لجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين العراقيين في عامي ١٣٩٢ هـ و ١٣٩٤ هـ. أقام ستة معارض شخصية في قاعة المتحف الوطني، واشترك في كثير من المعارض داخل العراق وخارجه (٢).
