عبد الحميد أحمد كريّم (١٣١٧ - ١٣٩٦ هـ- ١٨٩٩ - ١٩٧٦ م) عالم، خطيب. ولد بدمشق. تعلّم في المدارس الابتدائية والثانوية. دخل سلك الشرطة. ثم توجه لدراسة العلوم الشرعية. قرأ على الشيخ عطا الله الكسم، وأبي الخير الميداني، وعبد الوهاب دبس وزيب. اشترك في معركة ميسلون، وخطب ضد الفرنسيين في الجامع الأموي. درّس في المدرسة الكاملية. أنشأ مدرسة النهضة العلمية في حي العقيبة بدمشق. عيّن إماما وخطيبا في جامع الشامية قرب سوق ساروجة سنة ١٣٤٤ هـ. كان فاضلا، حسن السيرة، متواضعا، لا يترفع عن أن يحضر دروس أقرانه كواحد من تلاميذهم (١).
