    صالح بن حسين العلي (١٣٣٠ - ١٤٠٤ هـ- ١٩١١ - ١٩٨٤ م) فاضل، مدرّس للعلوم الشرعية. ولد في الدلم (الخرج) بالسعودية. لازم حلقات محمد بن إبراهيم آل الشيخ وأفاد منه كثيرا. ودروس عبد العزيز بن باز، عين مديرا للمدرسة السعودية بالدلم، ثم مدرّسا في الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة حتى إحالته للتقاعد. توفي بمكة المكرمة (١). ويبدو أن أصله من العراق. له قصيدة بعنوان «تشخيص أخطاء صاحب الأغلال الرئيسية وبيان ما دلّت عليه من الإلحاد والمذاهب الإباحية» نشرها صاحب مطبعة المنار بالقاهرة عام ١٣٦٧ هـ مع مجموعة من القصائد الأخرى.
