    سعيد العويناتي (١٣٧٠ - ١٣٩٦ هـ- ١٩٥٠ - ١٩٧٦ م) شاعر. ولد في قرية البلاد (الخميس) عاصمة البحرين القديمة. أكمل دراسته الجامعية في فرع الاجتماع والعلوم الإنسانية بالعراق. عاد إلى وطنه ليعمل محررا أدبيا في مجلة «المواقف». ساهم في نشاطات الأسرة الأدبية التي كان عضوا فيها حتى وفاته. يتضمن شعره قسوة الواقع من حياة الفلاحين والصيادين والفقراء. «وقد مرّ بمعاناة سياسية قاسية انتهت بوفاته». له ديوان شعر بعنوان: إليك أيها الوطن .. إليك أيتها الحبيبة.- المنامة: دار الغد، ١٣٩٦ هـ. وقصائد أخرى متفرقة (١). سعيد العويناتي
