    حسين بن علي السعيد (١٣٧٦ - ١٤١٢ هـ- ١٩٥٦ - ١٤١٢ م) متفقه إمامي، محاسب. من أهل الطرف بواحة الأحساء في السعودية. قرأ في النجف الفقه وأصوله، وعلوم العربية على الشيخ محمد باقر الصدر سنة ١٤٠٢ هـ، وكان يعمل محاسبا ماليا عنده. ولما توفي أستاذه تولى الإشراف على إحدى الحلقات الدراسية للفقه الإمامي بالحوزة العلمية بمدينة النجف، ثم طلبته السلطات العراقية، فخاف وهرب متخفيا بلباس امرأة، وتمكن من الوصول إلى الأحساء. له ثلاثة كتب في الفقه لا تزال مخطوطة (٢).
