    رشدي جميل العظمة (١٣٣٦ - ١٤١١ هـ- ١٩١٧ - ١٩٩١ م) وجيه، إداري. ولد في مكة المكرمة. درس بالمدرسة الصولتية، ثم المعهد العلمي السعودي. درّس في المدرسة العزيزية، ثم الفيصلية. نقلت خدماته إلى أمانة العاصمة، وارتقى في إداراتها إلى أن شغل منصب أمين العاصمة المقدسة بالنيابة. ثم رفع إلى عضوية مجلس الشورى منذ ١٣٧٥ هـ إلى أن أحيل إلى التقاعد في آخر السنة نفسها. توفي يوم الخميس ٧ شعبان، ودفن بمقابر مكة المكرمة. كان له نشاط أدبي منذ مطلع شبابه، واعتبر من الرواد الأوائل في التأليفالمدرسي، حيث قام بتأليف ج
