هدار بن محمد الهدار (١٣١٠ - ١٤١١ هـ- ١٨٩٢ - ١٩٩١ م) العالم، العابد، الزاهد. هو السيد هدار بن محمد بن عمر بن محمد بن عمر بن محمد بن صالح الهدار العلوي الحسيني الحضرمي، ثم المدني الشافعي. ولد بالقطن، ودرس بها المبادئ، ولما قدمها الشيخ علوي المشهور للدعوة إلى الله تعالى لزمه، وقرأ عليه في عدة كتب، منها «المنهاج» وكان يؤم في المسجد الذي أسسه شيخه المذكور بالمكلا في شهر رمضان، وانتقل إلى المدينة المنورة مجاورا، وتوفي بها في الرابع من جمادى الآخرة، ودفن بالبقيع (٣).
