مصطفى أحمد الفرا (١٣١٨ - ١٣٩٨ هـ- ١٩٠٠ - ١٩٧٧ م) رئيس المؤذنين في الجامع الأموي. ولد بدمشق، وتلقى علومه في مدرسة الملك الظاهر، ثم تردد على حلقات الذكر، وتلقى الموشحات القديمة وأوزانها من شيوخها. ثم ترأس حلقات الذكر التي تقام في التكايا والمساجد بدمشق. وكان على اتصال بكبار العلماء. سافر إلى مصر. كما زار القدس، وحج تسع حجات (٥).
