محمد بن زبن العتيبي (٠٠٠ - ١٤٠٩ هـ- ٠٠٠ - ١٩٨٩ م) محمد بن زبن العتيبي أديب، شاعر شعبي. هو محمد بن زبن بن عمير العتيبي (انظر المستدرك). توفي في أوائل شهر رجب. وكانت له مكانته الأدبية والاجتماعية. رثاه بعض الشعراء الشعبيين بقوله: نرثى فقيد الشعر يا عمير ونجيب ... بعض المزايا اللي بها عارفينه كل فقد ناطح وجيه المواجيب ... ويا عمير أعرفه ما تخاذل بدينه بالخير مذكور وبعيد عن العيب ... ويضحك حجاجه للذي زايرينه (٣) طبع له كتاب بعنوان: حكايات من الماضي- الرياض: الجمعية العربية السعودية للثقافة والفنون، ١٤٠٢ هـ، ٢٢٨ ص- (المكتبة السعودية؛ ٤).
