محمد ثاني حبيب (١٣٣٣ - ١٤٠٩ هـ- ١٩١٤ - ١٩٨٩ م) إمام المسلمين في أثيوبيا، ورئيس المجلس الإسلامي الأعلى فيها، وإمام المسجد الأنور بأديس أبابا. محمد ثاني حبيب عرف بورعه وزهده، وعلمه، وصلاحه، وصلاته الودودة مع جميع قطاعات الشعب الأثيوبي، مما انعكس على الصحوة التي شهدتها الحركة الإسلامية في أثيوبيا، وتوطيد علاقاتهم مع إخوانهم المسلمين في البلاد الأخرى. توفي في أديس أبابا يوم الجمعة، الثالث والعشرين من شهر رمضان، وشيّع جثمانه آلاف الأشخاص، مما لم تشهده البلاد من قبل (٢).
