محمد أحمد عبد المجيد (١٣١٨ - ١٣٩٨ هـ- ١٩٠٠ - ١٩٧٨ م) شيخ فاضل، خطاط. تولى الإمامة في الجامع الكبير بدومة، والخطابة بجامعة الشيخ علي بدومة أيضا (من أحياء دمشق). كان خطاطا يجيد الخط الثلث، وله شعر حسن. منه قوله في الإحسان: لمرضاة ربّ العالمين تسابقوا ... وفوزوا بإخراج الزكاة وأنفقوا ألا إنما الإنفاق حصن لمالكم ... وو الله فوز المنفقين محقق فبشرى لقوم مؤمنين بربهم ... وآياته قد صدقوا فتصدقوا هم المؤمنون الصادقون تعاونوا ... على البر والتقوى ولم يتفرقوا وإيمانهم قد زاد فازداد عطفهم ... وجادوا وبالقوم الضعاف ترفقوا (٤)
