كميل شمعون (١٣١٨ - ١٤٠٧ هـ- ١٩٠٠ - ١٩٨٧ م) رئيس لبنان. رأس جمهورية لبنان من ١٩٥٢ إلى ١٩٥٨ خلفا للرئيس بشارة الخوري. وقد جرت في أواخر عهده (عام ١٩٥٨) اضطرابات دامية بين القوى المعارضة والقوى الموالية للسلطة، انتهت بتولي اللواء فؤاد شهاب منصب الرئاسة (٢) له مذكرات أعدها فؤاد كرم.
