فواز الساجر (١٣٦٨ - ١٤٠٨ هـ- ١٩٤٨ - ١٩٨٨ م) فنان، مخرج مسرحي. هو واحد من أهم الأسماء المسرحية في سورية، ولد في منبج بحلب. درس المسرح في الاتحاد السوفياتي وتخرج من أحد معاهده عام ١٩٧٢ م، أخرج عددا كبيرا من المسرحيات .. على مسارح الجامعة، والعمال، والمسرح الوطني الفلسطيني، والمسرح القومي، ودرّس في المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية في دمشق منذ أن أسس. حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في الإخراج المسرحي عام ١٩٨٦ م من الاتحاد السوفيتي. وكانت مسرحية (سكان الكهف) لوليم سارويان .. آخر أعماله الفنية (١). توفي يوم الاثنين ١٦ أيار (مايو).
