عمر وجدي بن عبد القادر الكردي (١٣١٩ - ١٤١١ هـ- ١٩٠١ - ١٩٩١ م) فقيه، متكلم، زاهد. هو الشيخ عمر وجدي بن عبد القادر الكردي، المارديني، ثم المصري، الحنفي. ولد بماردين، ورحل إلى مصر، والتحق برواق الأكراد بالأزهر الشريف، وتخرج منه. تلقى العلم عن الشيخ محمد حبيب الله الشنقيطي، والشيخ محمد زاهد الكوثري، وغيرهما، وأجازوه بما لهم وعنهم. عمل مترجما في الإذاعة المصرية باللغة التركية، كما عمل شيخا لرواق الأتراك والأكراد والبغداديين بالأزهر (٣).
