علي أحمد البراق (١٣٠٩ - ١٤٠١ هـ- ١٨٩١ - ١٩٨١ م) المقرئ الشهير. ولد بالقيروان، وحفظ القرآن والمبادئ الدينية، وشهد الحلق الفقهية ببلده، وساهم في الكثير من الاحتفالات والمواسم الإسلامية. حج سنة ١٣٧٠ هـ، ورتّل القرآن بالحرمين الشريفين. له في الإذاعة والتلفزة التونسية آثار صوتية كثيرة من التلاوات القرآنية والمدائح والأذكار (٢).
